About Emma

Emma invites you to discover her paintings and illustrations, enter a world rich. with captivating characters, waves, wonder, polka dots, patterns and pussy cats.

Born in the Isle of Man in 1970, Emma’s first degree was in Fashion Design and her love of clothes and textiles is evident in her bold and sometimes autobiographical work. She is inspired by living by the sea, her cats, old photographs, Mughal paintings, her life, inner world and the people she meets. Emma recently moved to glorious Cornwall and has been developing new works and has even been trying her hand at landscape painting and plein air sketching.

Emma is a Painter, designer and Teacher, she currently runs vibrant block printing and lampshade making courses as well as launching a you tube channel (Emma Hundleby Artist), she wishes to share her artists knowledge and to inspire creativity in others. Emma loves paddling, sea swimming, long walks, to laugh, chocolate, sketching at her favourite café and Chris Pine.

Her paintings are in private collections in the UK, Europe and have travelled as far as the antipodes.
